Health care leaders to gain advice for building sustained customer/patient experience from Philadelphia 76ers, Dallas Cowboys executives at GetConnected 2016
Bethesda, Md., May 24, 2016 – GetWellNetwork®, Inc., the leader in Interactive Patient Care™ (IPC) solutions, today announced the keynote speakers at GetConnected 2016, the company’s Interactive Patient Care Conference, taking place May 23-25, 2016, at the Marriott Philadelphia Downtown in Philadelphia, Pa.
The conference keynote address, “Building Brand Loyalty Through the Customer Experience,” will be delivered on Wednesday, May 25, by Scott O’Neil, CEO of the Philadelphia 76ers, New Jersey Devils and Prudential Center, and Matt O’Neil, VP of Brand and Media for the Dallas Cowboys.
“More than ever before, patient loyalty is a leading factor in financial health and stability for health care providers. The rise of alternative care delivery sites and new designs to insurance plans provide patients more choices on how and where they receive care,” said Carrie Ivers, chief strategy officer at GetWellNetwork. “Competing for patient loyalty by providing an exceptional care experience has become a central focus for many health care organizations. We can learn a lot from the professional sports industry where building and securing fan loyalty has been paramount to business success.”
“In the professional sports world, cultivating a loyal fan base and driving brand loyalty are absolutes,” said Matt O’Neil. “When we look at the consumer experience, we look at the entire customer journey – every single touchpoint. We have to ensure that every time a consumer touches our brand, in person or through any medium, that their entire experience is the best, most rewarding it can be. It’s no different in health care today.”
Scott O’Neil will explore the direct correlation between strong employee engagement and the consumer experience. “Our company values and culture drive our business and shape our interactions with our fans. By creating a culture that supports growth, encourages transparency and recognizes achievement, we set expectations for the way we connect with our fans,” said Scott O’Neil.
Ivers continued, “Patient satisfaction and outcomes will always be important objectives in health care, but creating and sustaining an optimal patient experience are essential to success in the provider arena. This unique keynote presentation will help our IPC community leaders think differently about how they deliver value, convenience and quality to their patients and families.”
