The Interactive Patient Care Conference features nationally recognized thought leaders, presentations on improving the patient experience and driving high-quality care through patient-centered technology
Bethesda, Md., May 11, 2016 – GetWellNetwork®, Inc., will host its ninth Interactive Patient Care Conference at the Marriott Philadelphia Downtown May 23-25, in Philadelphia, Pa. In addition to hosting nationally recognized thought leaders, speakers and distinguished guests, the company’s annual user conference assembles hundreds of members of the Interactive Patient Care community to exchange best practices.
Representatives from leading hospitals and health systems across the country will deliver more than 50 presentations on topics such as transforming patient care delivery, adding the patient voice to clinical decision making, interoperability, and the rise of consumerism in health care.
GetWellNetwork Founder and CEO Michael O’Neil will detail the future of the “Patient’s Platform” in transforming care during his conference remarks on Tuesday, May 24. Jason Wolf, Ph.D., president of The Beryl Institute and nationally recognized patient experience expert, will talk about improving the patient experience, organizational culture and operational performance. And Michael Hubble, MBA, managing director of Educational Services at The Advisory Board Company, will discuss strategies providers can adopt to compete and differentiate themselves in the health care marketplace.
Also speaking at GetConnected will be author and professor Joanne Disch, Ph.D., RN, FAAN, who will offer insights into fostering a culture of person-centered care. Sara Toomey, M.D., MPhil, MPH, MSc, assistant professor at Harvard Medical School and managing director at the Center of Excellence for Pediatric Quality Measurement at Boston Children’s Hospital, will share groundbreaking research on the measurement of pediatric experience in the inpatient setting.
