A message from Michael O’Neil on Coronavirus

Dear clients,

GetWellNetwork is closely following coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) developments. We know many of you are working on how to prepare for possible patients with the Novel Coronavirus (nCoV).

Our attention is focused on ensuring the safety of our employees and doing everything we can to support our clients.

Keep patients and families updated on preparedness plans through GetWellNetwork

GetWellNetwork has a variety of features within our system to help support hospital communications. For example, we have constructed a new promotional space in GetWell Inpatient™ entitled Learn about Coronavirus. Within the promotional space, you will find a link to obtain up-to-date patient information from the World Health Organization (WHO) or the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). As always, clients may also request customized prompts and add custom videos as needed.

To add this Promotional Space:

> Contact your Client Service Manager to enter a configuration request ticket

> Include which Favorite or Promotional Space needs to be replaced

> Choose which link to patient information you would like to use: CDC or WHO

Keeping our employees safe

Here at GetWellNetwork, we’re focused on keeping our clients and our employees safe and healthy. That’s why we’ve instituted the following policies internally:

Employees are encouraged to stay at home if feeling unwell. Any employee exhibiting a cough or fever is not permitted to travel onsite.

Employees have been advised to practice hand and respiratory hygiene and to avoid close contact with patients or anyone exhibiting a cough.

Impact on procurement

We are currently well stocked in hardware at our warehouse for the short term. We anticipate stock shortage may occur around 60+ days.

Most of our manufacturers are stating a 4- to 6-week delay in production time. Our pillow speaker manufacturers are reporting slight delays for orders on a case-by-case basis.

The 55” Smart TV is experiencing delays due to parts produced in China. The LG Electronics 32”, 43” and 49” Smart TVs are produced in Mexico, and therefore are not impacted at this time.

The procurement team is in close communication with our suppliers and will monitor the situation periodically.

We are here for you, 24/7

Please reach out to our world-class customer support team — they’re available 24 hours a day, seven days a week for you.
