Former Johnson & Johnson veteran, Jeff Fallon, joins team to expand national accounts reach, and enhance distribution and strategic partnerships

BETHESDA, MD – July 6, 2011 – GetWellNetwork, Inc., provider of the industry's leading interactive patient care solution, today announced the expansion of the executive leadership team, adding healthcare industry veteran Jeff Fallon in the newly created role of vice president, business development and national accounts. Fallon will be responsible for expanding the reach of GetWellNetwork through national accounts and by forging new distribution and strategic partnerships to grow and expand Interactive Care Plans in ripe market segments.

“We are thrilled to have a talent like Jeff join our team. He brings a valuable perspective to our business that will allow us to expand by becoming a true total solutions provider,” said Michael O’Neil, founder and CEO, GetWellNetwork. “As hospitals and health systems are adapting to healthcare reform and working to achieve meaningful use requirements, GetWellNetwork is committed to investing in the right tools, methodology and resources to successfully collaborate with large health systems on a system strategy for patient engagement through interactive patient care.”

Fallon brings more than 20 years of healthcare sales and business development experience, and joins the GetWellNetwork team after twelve years at Johnson & Johnson, having most recently served as the director of customer development. In his previous role, he launched new strategic relationships with large healthcare delivery networks for the large medical device, diagnostic and pharmaceutical icon. Fallon earned a B.A. from Duquesne University, an executive M.B.A. at the University of Pittsburgh, Katz School of Business and a health economics fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School. He is also a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and the Strategic Account Management Association.

“The GetWellNetwork team has amassed a remarkable amount of unique insights in patient experience innovation and the outcomes data to document their success since beginning this journey eleven years ago,” said Fallon, of his new role. “I look forward to leading the national accounts group to bring this expertise to long-term strategic relationships with large complex health care delivery networks that seek to improve patient outcomes and experience systemwide. I am also reaching out to other stakeholders in patient experience and hospital IT in search of synergistic relationships that can speed the deployment of the GetWellNetwork platform for the benefit of patients across the nation.

“And finally, as suppliers seek to provide solutions to hospitals instead of just products, GetWellNetwork is uniquely positioned to facilitate new care delivery collaboration between these stakeholders. I am excited about developing this model in partnership with some of the most highly-regarded health care providers and suppliers in the world today.”
